Empowering educators to deliver D&T
Our workshops provide engaging, fun and memorable opportunities for all to ensure that learning is sustained.
At The STEM Workshop we provide a range of workshops designed to nurture children’s inner creative thinking. We provide safe, supportive environments for children to explore, innovate, take risks and problem solve. Our activities connect the learning from across Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
Our vision is to support schools in ensuring that Design and Technology is embedded and sustained within the curriculum, providing engaging learning experiences which allow children to contexualise their learning from Science and Maths leading to greater progress.
Beyond the classroom
We support organisations and businesses in creating STEM engagement provision that connects learners to careers beyond the classroom. We work closely with our partners within their local community to help them address their organisational and business needs. We do this through providing bespoke practical workshops, tailored to the organisation.
“I’ve worked with Leanne and her team for several years now. She is now responsible for all our school STEM delivery end to end. Leanne has the unique ability to engage, inspire and inform in one interaction. From primary children through to disengaged NEET young people she has the ability to switch them on to STEM.”
“As a school we have been working with The STEM Workshop for over 5 years .They continue to provide our Engineering and Technology students with high quality bespoke knowledge and skills to further enhance what they are learning in school and what they subsequently will need in their future career pathways in the industry.”
“Leanne is amazing. The children love STEM days and she makes the sessions look so easy. As a new subject lead it was quite daunting but Leanne helped make sense of it and she is always willing to help.”
“A fantastic opportunity for the children to work collaboratively. Instant CPD for the staff at
school. Leanne makes the workshops engaging and fun for all! Thank you.”
