This year we will be running a series of holiday clubs on behalf of MAKEuk in Aston, Birmingham
The clubs will be open to reduced numbers to ensure we are able to adhere to the following guidance, outlined by the government.
Secondary Future Makers Club (Age 11 – 15)
During the 2 days students will explore the automotive industry, They will explore the challenges that the industry face and develop their understanding of energy, mechanics, electronics and control.
Day 1
Students will get the opportunity to design and make their own race car exploring traditional modelling techniques and their understanding of aerodynamics, they will be given the opportunity to put their ideas to the test using the F1 in Schools race track.
Day 2
Students will get the opportunity to design and prototype their own idea for an electric powered vehicle and will explore the developments around autonomous vehicles, they will develop their understanding of the understanding of control technology.

Primary Future Makers Club (Age 8 – 11)
During the 2 days children will also explore the automotive industry and will develop their understanding for shape, form, electronics and computer control.
Day 1
The children will be given the opportunity to design, make and test their very own F1 race car, exploring their understanding of NET development and manipulating sheet materials they will gain an insight into the Primary F1 in Schools Challenge.
Day 2
During day 2 we will explore how we can power a car using electronics and using control technology, developing their understanding of simple circuits, mechanisms and computer control.
